Quercus Technologies is pleased to announce the launch of the new version of SmartLoop® TS, a non-intrusive traffic sensor that combines advanced computer vision with an easy-to-use set-up.
The new release of SmartLoop TS has been launched on the occasion of the Intertraffic Amsterdam exhibition. This new launch is just one of the steps Quercus is taking towards hardware and software improvements designed to offer the user a more accessible way of interacting with the units, a comfortable ‘just-a-few-clicks’ installation while maintaining the advanced quality computer vision methods.
The new non-intrusive virtual-loop based traffic sensor is able to control up to 35 detection zones and includes a practical wizard to facilitate installation. SmartLoop TS combines and processes several advanced algorithms at the same time, and not separately, in order to provide faster and more precise detection regardless of external factors such as shadows or sudden light changes.
SmartLoop TS includes different output possibilities to facilitate installation in any situation. It is available as an all-in-one unit including built-in digital outputs and can be extended with an external module of up to 16 outputs.
Users can also check in advance the optimum place and position for the installation through a 3D previewer tool.
“The new SmartLoop TS is a handy and cost-effective solution for any user as the installation is very simple, there is no need to open the unit, and the configuration is intuitive and user-friendly,” says VÃctor Roig, traffic management and enforcement sales manager for the EMEA.
