US-based online parking company ParkWhiz has partnered with Faspark, a provider of on-street and off-street parking information, to provide enhanced parking services for drivers in Chicago.
ParkWhiz is adding more than 140 garages and lots in Chicago for users of Faspark users to choose from, making Faspark’s app a universal parking solution for motorists.
ParkWhiz CEO Aashish Dalal said: “Drivers in Chicago can now readily find information on parking anywhere it’s available, and if it’s off-street, guarantee the space at a price they know they’re comfortable with.
“Here at ParkWhiz, our central mission is to reduce the everyday hassle of finding the perfect parking spot, and make the lives of drivers easier; this partnership does exactly that.
“We’re excited to be able to come together and provide our users with such a comprehensive parking tool.”
Faspark uses various data sources to predict the likelihood of street parking options, and help drivers in Chicago instantly find street parking near their location and filter between free spaces, zoned/permit areas and metered parking.
The Faspark app, which is available in the iTunes and Google Play stores, uses geolocation to find out the user’s whereabouts as they drive through the city.
ParkWhiz, which works with a number of parking facilities nationwide, gives customers access to an online parking inventory with over three million parking spaces.
Locally, the company provides access to more than 150 downtown Chicago parking and monthly Chicago parking locations.
Faspark CEO Eyal Amir said: “We’re very excited about the partnership with ParkWhiz. It represents a great step forward for both companies.
“Our customers can now not only look for free, paid, permit parking, but also for discounted parking in a parking structure.”
