Hypermotion Lab – the interface between mobility and logistics
How can drones be safely integrated into air traffic control systems, and will air taxies soon be zipping us from A to B? Why do we need the internet of things, and how can the IoT create an entirely new ecosystem for entrepreneurs via space? What role does 3D printing have to play in the field of vehicle technology, and what does the future of additive manufacturing look like? All these questions will be posed and discussed in the Hypermotion Lab at the interface between mobility and logistics. There will also be two top-notch keynote speeches by whistleblower Edward Snowden on the topic of ‘Data protection in mobility and logistics’ (10 November) and best-selling author Marc Elsberg (11 November), each of which will only be available on the day as a live stream.
Three VISION mobility THINK TANKs organised by Munich-based publishers HUSS VERLAG will be studying the topic of ‘Alternative mobility in cities’. Here, the focus will be on intelligent capacity and load management, lightweight electric mobility, and start-ups from various mobility fields, offering a look behind the scenes. HUSS-VERLAG is also organising the Logistics Digital Conference (LDC!), which transfers logistics expertise into the virtual realm. Over the course of two sessions, experts will be discussing the deployment of hydrogen-powered vehicles and fuel cell technology in road haulage, as well as new digital possibilities in e-commerce logistics.
The 6th German Mobility Congress
The digital Mobility Stage is playing host to the 6th German Mobility Congress, which will be exploring the question: ‘Climate change, digitalisation, coronavirus – what will our mobility look like in future?’ On 10 November the congress will kick off with speeches by Prof. Knut Ringat (CEO and Spokesperson of the Board of Management of the Rhein Main-Verkehrsverbund GmbH), Prof. Dr. Jan Ninnemann (President of the German Association of Transport Sciences (DVWG e.V.)), State Secretary Steffen Bilger, and Minister Tarek Al-Wazir. In other presentations, experts, scientists, entrepreneurs and politicians will join forces to develop solutions for future mobility.
