Transfesa Logistics has appointed Anne Sophie Petit as its new Chief Financial Officer. With experience in team management on an international scale, she has held positions linked to control and financial management in Spain and other countries.
Anne-Sophie's addition to the management team comes at a key moment for the group. In its strategic plan, one of the main objectives is to maintain its leading position as an operator and to provide the market with sustainable 'door-to-door' logistics and freight transport solutions. To this end, it is working on boosting international corridors with rail as the backbone, since rail emits nine times less CO2 than truck and is the most suitable mode for achieving environmentally friendly supply chains.
Anne-Sophie Petit is very excited about this new professional stage "I am very happy to be part of this great family. I am joining a great team with the desire to add, to achieve new achievements and to work on the consolidation of one of the most important companies in the sector". Bernd Hullerum, CEO of Transfesa Logistics, says he is convinced that Anne-Sophie, due to her training and experience, "will be a key player in the development of the company, as well as in the achievement of its business objectives. I am convinced that her extensive international experience will help us in the development and implementation of our international growth plans in our main corridors". Anne-Sophie Petit has a strong background in business administration (HEC-ISG) in France and Leadership at IESE. Her professional career has been mainly developed in the multinationals Gestamp and Visteon.
