ADIF High-Speed has awarded Ardanuy Ingeniería and Urci Consultores the Consultancy and Technical Assistance Contract regarding the expansion of the current High-Speed Line for this new section in the province of Castilla & León. The Joint Venture will draft the Conceptual Design concerning the track duplication in standard gauge between the Valladolid-Campo Grande Station and the Northern Junction of the city, as well as the Eastern Freight Bypass.
These works include the necessary infrastructure actions to implement a double track, such as prior analysis of the existing railway track and its possible replacement, as well as future drainage works and implementation of trenches, embankments, structures, crossings and gauges, as well as electrification at 25 kv.
The Project is valued at 572,831.19 Euros and will be executed over a period of one year and two months.
