The Eastern European organization of the Rhenus Group offers national and international services in the across Europe, the Ukraine and the Commonwealth of Independent States. “For us, Lithuania is a tiger economy. The expansion of the Rhenus Group activities opens the way into international markets for the national economy and will strengthen the logistics location of Lithuania,†said Arunas Bertašius, Managing Director of Rhenus Svoris, during the opening ceremony.
The warehouse at the logistics centre covers more than 12,000 square metres. In addition, another 2,000 square metres have been allocated for office premises, where the administration of Rhenus Svoris will be situated.
“We have felt the need for additional space for a long time. The decision to build a new logistics centre was made in order to optimize the management of warehouses and reduce operating costs. Capacities of the company’s warehouses located at different locations were moved into one modern and automated centre. This will enable us to plan our activities more efficiently as well as to reduce management costs and implement our set strategic plans,†explained Arunas Bertašius.
