According to the agreement, the two parties will strengthen the cooperation on large bulk cargo transportation and promote sea-rail transportation channel in western China. Meanwhile, Cosco Shipping Bulk and Beibu Gulf Port will also increase investments in port and shipping infrastructure construction for large size vessel and expand overseas market.
The deal will bring more opportunities to us to develop bulk liner service, inland logistics service and digital platform in the further, said Gu Jinsong, general manager of Cosco Shipping Bulk.
Cosco Shipping Bulk, headquartered in Guangzhou, operating the world’s largest dry bulk fleet. The company’s cargo volume in Beibu gulf area is 10.758m tons in 2019, an increase of 13.3% comparing to the same period of last year.
During the first five month this year, the cargo volume of Cosco Shipping Bulk in Beibu gulf region is 5.29m tons, an increase of 22.65% year-on-year
