During April, 900,594 passengers traveled through Southwest Florida International Airport, a slight decrease of 0.2 percent compared to April 2015. Year-to-date, passenger traffic is up 6.1 percent from the same period last year.
The traffic leader in April was Southwest with 195,573 passengers traveling to and from Fort Myers. Rounding out the top five airlines were Delta (189,452), American (143,072), JetBlue (114,078) and United (78,521).
Southwest Florida International Airport had 8,215 aircraft movements (takeoffs and landings), a decrease of 0.5 percent compared to April 2015. Page Field saw 9,971 movements, a 3.2 percent increase from April 2015.
