Ethiopian Airlines will add stops at Cape Town in South Africa and Botswana’s capital Gaborone to its Addis Ababa-Johannesburg route from 30 June.
The carrier will operate its Addis Ababa-Gaborone-Cape Town-Johannesburg rotation thrice weekly with a Boeing 737.
Separately, a notice in South Africa’s Government Gazette shows that Ethiopian has applied for rights to operate flights between Addis Ababa, Rwandan capital Kigali, and Bloemfontein.
