Admiral Dr. Rafik Galal – Executive Managing Director of DCHC (Damietta Container & Cargo Handling Co.) announced that the terminal continues to exceed and achieve new records, as one million, 969 thousand and 473 TEU (1,969,463 TEU) were handled during the year ending 2023, which is unprecedented before. It is the highest annual number handled in DCHC (Damietta Container & Cargo Handling Co.) since its establishment. Compared to the previous year 2022, (1,229,500 TEU) were handled, with an increase of 60%.
December 2023 was the highest monthly number handled in the history of the company, by achieving a throughput volume (200.306 TEU).
