In Hanover, Germany, Siemens is welcoming visitors from all around the world to showcase its automation, digitalization, and electrification portfolio, which promotes a more sustainable future. The occasion will mark the debut of the SimRod e-car.

As per CedrikNeike, member of the Siemens AG Managing Board and CEO of Digital Industries, they have the necessary technology. They need to put them to good use and build them up. As a business, they must radically alter their approach, become more open to new opportunities, be transparent, and make better use of data utilisation. Siemens is all set and eager to walk alongside their clients on this journey.

The SimRod demonstrates how Siemens automation technology can revolutionise automotive production with solutions ranging from digital twins and additive fabrication to autonomous guided vehicles and mobile robotics. Siemens facilitates the intelligent use of data and makes production more efficient and sustainable by connecting the real and digital worlds. The excellent thing is that Siemens has the right technologies to boost profitability and sustainability, enhance visibility and pace, and guarantee availability and scalability for customers.

Siemens showcases the depth and breadth of its technology and digitalization range with its highlight showcase, the SimRod e-car. The SimRod allows guests in the booth to explore product and manufacturing optimization across its entire life cycle. In the automotive sector, digital twins, the use of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and additive manufacturing are transforming planning and manufacturing. IT and operational technology are converging in the real and digital worlds, enabling unending improvement loops to meet efficiency and ecological requirements.

Furthermore, Siemens will exhibit developments at Hanover aimed at ensuring availability and scalability.

For drives, an AI-based service edge app: At Hannover Messe, Siemens is also showcasing an edge application as part of its predictive services bunch.  Plant availability is increased by 30% due to fewer production downtimes.

Large amounts of data may flow from the shop floor to the top floor, integrating IT and OT networks thanks to comprehensive data availability and mobile data access solutions. This provides for more openness and efficiency.

Industrial 5G: An industrial 5G router supports manufacturing solutions such as mobile robots. Furthermore, Siemens, in collaboration with Deutsche Messe, offers all firms access to the private commercial 5G testing field.
